Business loans
Business loans for UK companies
A single funding request, reviewed properly. Tell us what the money is for and how your business trades, and a specialist will talk you through the structures that could fit.
Who it suits
Is this the right fit for your business?
Funding works best when the structure matches the reason for borrowing. These are the situations this option is usually suited to.
- UK limited companies, LLPs and established partnerships
- Businesses trading long enough to show a pattern in their accounts
- Owners who want one funding conversation rather than several applications
- Businesses with a specific, costed reason for borrowing
Common uses
What businesses use it for
- Covering a gap between paying suppliers and being paid
- Buying stock ahead of a busy trading period
- Equipment, vehicles and premises fit-out
- Hiring and payroll while new people get productive
- Tax bills and other predictable but lumpy costs
- Marketing, new product lines and larger contracts
How it works
From enquiry to completion
- 1
You tell us the requirement
Amount, purpose and how quickly you need it. The purpose genuinely changes which structure suits you, so it is worth being specific.
- 2
We look at how you trade
Turnover, trading history, existing commitments and affordability, read together rather than reduced to a single score.
- 3
You see the options and the cost
Structure, term, total repayable and any security involved, set out before you are asked to commit to anything.
- 4
You decide
Nothing is drawn until you have reviewed the documentation and accepted the terms in writing.
What we ask for
Have these to hand and the process moves faster
We will always tell you exactly what is needed before you upload anything.
- Recent business bank statements
- Management accounts or your most recent filed accounts
- Details of existing finance commitments
- Company details and identification for directors

£2,000 – £500,000
Months 1–6 · interest-free
£3,125.00
Then £3,453.80 a month for the remaining 18 months
No interest for the first 6 months — you repay capital only.

Business finance is a commitment. Repayments must be met from business income, and missed payments can affect your business. Consider affordability before applying.
Things to weigh up
What to consider before you borrow
Business finance is a commitment. These are the points worth thinking through honestly before you apply.
Borrowing is a commitment
Repayments come out of trading income every month, including in quieter months. Stress-test the repayment against a weaker trading period before you sign.
Cheapest is not always right
A longer term lowers the monthly payment but increases the total cost. A shorter term costs less overall but puts more pressure on cash flow.
Personal guarantees
Some structures involve a personal guarantee from a director. If one is required it will be explained clearly, in advance, and never buried in the paperwork.
We may not be able to help
If the request does not look affordable, we will say so and explain why rather than pushing an application through.
